CH Editor Caroline Kim caught up with site favorite Steve Byrne outside the Comedy Cellar. Steve talks about all aspects of the comedy business, his DVD, opening for Mariah Carey, and his hatred of guitar toting performers.

"But a bunch of these guys that are picking up guitars now and putting them in their acts—I just wanna Animal-House them. I just want to grab it and smash it against the wall, and tell them, “Dude, what are you doing? Stop trying to be different.” Because what everybody’s doing is not different anymore."

The interview covers many aspects of his career, and is loaded with tons of great stories like making out with Sarah Silverman, taking on 5 thugs in the Boston Comedy Club bathroom, and the proper way to handle a heckler in the Comedy Cellar. 

"So the kids who's on my back whispers in my ear 'You're gonna die in here.' That just fucking freaked me. I just started screaming and threw him off and then herded all of them into stall with the toilet. Just grabbed them all and pushed them in there and shut the fucking door and ran out of the bathroom."

Audio Interviews:

Bichutsky Films & Cringe Humor recently filmed a DVD at the world famous Comedy Cellar in NYC, to send to the troops stationed in Iraq. CH went around to each of the comedians asking them to send messages to the troops & give their thoughts on the Iraqi people. 

Opie stopped by along with Jim Norton, and I was asked to interview both men. The tragic result is what happens when you ask a mush mouthed, rat toothed, dummy with no improv skills to ask questions on the fly.

CH whore Robert Kelly decided to take me up on my decision to add him, and set up an audio debate featuring Naturman & myself. Robert did the moderating, and Keith Robinson chimed in with his worthless 2 cents.
