TV Highlights: Friday Nights with Greg Giraldo, Comedy Central Presents, Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, Last Call w/ Carson Daily, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn

Why He's On The Site: I honestly never heard of Greg until the pilots for Tough Crowd aired...Greg always has a funny quip about whatever topic is being discussed on the show...Greg's standup is an intense rant about whatever topic he's tackling...Very intellectual & fast paced delivery...One of the greatest moments in TV history was when Greg attacked & destroyed Denis Leary on Tough Crowd

Official Bio: Praise in The New York Times as "a talented comedian with a winning personality" and featured in Variety magazine's "Ten to Watch" edition (2002). Greg Giraldo is one of New York City's top comedians and a headliner in clubs across the country. Socially provocative and yet broadly funny, Greg has become one of the most versatile and highly entertaining comics working today. Greg is currently working as a regular panelist on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn which airs nightly on Comedy Central. He regularly contributes a "rant" segment to Last Call with Carson Daly (NBC) where he provides his unique spin on current events, politics, and family life. His own half hour stand-up special Comedy Central Presents...Greg Giraldo is also currently airing on Comedy Central and he has been a guest on Late Night with Conan O'Brien (NBC, Comedy Central) a dozen times. Greg recently has been featured on Late Show with David Letterman(CBS), The View(ABC), The Late Show with Craig Kilborn (CBS), Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher (ABC), and starred in the CBS/Castle Rock pilot, Drive and NBC pilot, The Greg Giraldo Show. Greg was also selected to roast Chevy Chase on Comedy Central's 2003 Friar Club Roast. Greg's career began to take off when his innovative material and energetic style made him a standout at the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival in 1995. After Montreal, Greg, a graduate of Harvard Law School who was recently profiled in Esquire magazine, was given the opportunity to develop and star in his own ABC sitcom, "Common Law," which was loosely based on his experiences at a New York law firm. He has been seen on dozens of televised comedy showcases both in the U.S. and abroad including Showtime's "Latino Comedy Festival", "Funny is Funny", Comedy Central's "Comedy Cabana", Louie Anderson's "Comedy Showcase", "Late Friday", and NBC and "Live at Jongleurs" on the BBC(UK). Greg returned to the Montreal Comedy Festival in 1999 and 2003 and performed at the Aspen Comedy Festival in 2001. He recently entertained the troops at the United States Naval Base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba as part of a USO Tour, which will be shown on Comedy Central.
