Born in California and raised in Philly, Derek Gaines is paying his dues in the New York comedy world and making great strides while at it. Coming from a strong religious upbringing Derek is making a name for himself in the college and Christian comedy scene. Don’t be scared though, Derek breaks it down to street level and doesn’t cater to religion while on the circuit.
