Cringe Comedians
Pete Dominick
TV Highlights The Apprentice, Stand Up Nation w/ Greg Giraldo, Host of Sirius' Radio's Comedy By Request
Why Is This Comic On the Site? Pete is such a delightfully angry young man. A lot of his routine revolves around what a mess of a human he's become, from his hair loss to how others perceive him, etc. It's not overdone though, as he steers clear from "Jim Norton Territory" and can tackle current event issues with the best of them...Pete's bread & butter is definitely his crowd work skills. He will quickly dissect a random audience member and reduce to them to nothing in mere seconds. I'd hate to use the clichéd term "razor sharp wit" to describe his crowd work ability, but his wit is sharp, like a razor. I've had the opportunity to see Pete all over NYC as of late, warming up the crowds at both Greg Giraldo's & Joe Matarese's tv pilot tapings, and each time he killed...So take notice NYC comedy fans, Pete's stock is rising quicker than his hairline is receding.
