Career Highlights: Howard Stern On Demand's
Kill Or Be Killed, The Kidd Chris Show
Why He's On The Site: CH first caught
wind of Chris through the great Rev. Bob Levy. After viewing a
video of Chris' act on his website, we immediately booked him
for our February 2006 Show...McDevitt opened up the February
2006 show and absolutely killed in front of nearly 200 rabid
Opie & Anthony fans...Since then McDevitt has been opening
up for established CH performers such as Nick DiPaolo, Jim
Florentine, & Bill Burr in the NJ/Philadelphia area...Chris
became the first winner in the Sirius Radio/Howard Stern On
Demand competition "Kill Or Be Killed"...Chris' act
appeals to the younger crowd but isn't hokey college bullshit.
He's very dark and raw, but never comes off as forced
Official Bio: Since making his comedy
debut in 1999, Chris McDevitt has been winning over audiences
internationally with his own special mix of cynicism, arrogance
and irreverent charm. This boy next door is a powerhouse the
neighbors never saw coming, especially the hot Asian one who
liked to leave her blinds open. As an opening act for The
Reverend Bob Levy, Bill Burr, Jim Breuer, Jim Florentine, Nick
DiPaolo, Rich Vos, and Jim Norton; Chris has introduced audience
after audience to one of the newest and biggest faces in comedy.
McDevitt
effortlessly switches his insights from the mundane to the taboo
in a manner that leaves the audience not only laughing but
slightly ashamed of their own glee. A long hot shower may be the
perfect chaser to a Chris McDevitt performance. A past winner of
Sirius Radio's "Kill or Be Killed" Comedy Competition,
Chris has been featured on both Howard 101 and the Raw Dog
channel. Hailed in New York as the only comic to ever make a
black man blush, Chris's humor transcends racial, financial, and
regional barriers to truly wring the last bit of laughter out of
a crowd. Going to confession afterwards is up to you...
