Why He's On The Site: Ben's performance at The Patrice O'Neal Roast caught everyone by surprise, as Bailey was without question the MVP of the night...I must admit, the first time I witnessed Ben's act at the Cellar, I wasn't impressed. Shortly after I caught another of Ben's performances at the Cellar and he KILLED doing the same material...Ben has a very unique delivery & style about him that takes time getting used to. His material is brilliantly twisted and delivered in a slow & plotting way...You haven't lived until you've seen him perform his "Sable The Donkey" routine...Ben lived up to his performance at Patrice's roast for the Jim Norton Roast, by impressing many Opie & Anthony fans with his brutal assault on every one in attendance

Official Bio: Ben Bailey is a young comedian on the rise. In the fall of 1992, Ben left his home in Chatham, New Jersey and flew to Los Angeles with only forty dollars and a backpack full of clothes. After looking for a job for a few months with no success, Ben finally landed a job answering phones at The Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard. Ben got to telling stories one night in the green room and soon had everybody laughing. That weekend he performed for the first time and was immediately hooked. Excited about his newly found calling, Ben returned home to pursue comedy full time in New York City.
Five years later, Ben has become a regular performer at all the big venues in Manhattan and travels around the country performing in clubs and colleges. The regular clubs you can see him in are Caroline's Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, The Comic Strip, The Comedy Cellar and Boston Comedy Club. Ben has appeared live on "Jersey's Talking with Lee Leonard". He has appeared in 2 separate Pizza Hut commercial and commercial for a restaurant in Jersey. Ben dances, juggles and plays the guitar but not on stage. Bailey uses sarcasm and wit to express his thought about his own life, life in general and the state of the world. You end up leaving his performance both laughing and thinking.
Ben is married and makes his home in Manhattan.
